Linda Fay Kovar

Linda Fay Burnett Kovar, 80, of Rosenberg, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. With great joy and unwavering faith, she went home to be with her Lord.

Linda was born in Hull-Daisetta, Texas. She graduated from Dulles High School and married her high school sweetheart, Leslie G. Kovar. Together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and love.

The loves of her life were God and Christ, her beloved husband Les, and her children and grandchildren-in that exact order.

Over the years, Linda worked as a realtor and as a secretary for Fort Bend Federal, the Richmond State School, and Schlumberger. However, her most treasured work was sharing Jesus with others and teaching the young women's class at Avenue N Church of Christ, where she was a faithful and devoted member.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie G. Kovar; her parents, Foster O. and Willie Mae Burnett; her Aunt Minnie and Uncle Louis Burnett; and her brother, Foster L. Burnett.

She is survived by her daughter, Lana Clark and husband Jeffrey; her son, Lane Kovar and wife Sandy; and her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Clark and wife Camilla, Elijah Clark, and Julia Kovar.

Linda spent many happy days tending her roses and working in her garden, studying the Word of God, and gathering around the table to laugh and share meals with her family.

A celebration of her life will be held on February 16, 2026.
