Mark Francis Kovar

Mark Kovar, 75, of Beverley Hills, FL died Vitas In-Patient Care Unit in Lecanto, FL on January 17, 2026.

Mark Francis Kovar was born November 27, 1950 in Crookston, MN, the son of Henry and Adeline (Falk) Kovar. He grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School. He attended Bemidji State and the University of North Dakota. Mark married Priscilla "Punky" Will in Powell, WY on February 28, 1981. He worked as an engineer in the Petroleum Industry for many years, living in Pampa, TX, Sumatra, Indonesia, Midland, TX, Farmington, NM, Kuwait, Wasilla, AK, Billings, MT and Hernando, FL.

Mark had a love for the outdoors and nature. Being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with longtime friends from his college days and new friends he met along the way.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla, of Hines, MN, and 1 sister Cathy Foy, of Galida, CA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Linus Kovar, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

INTERMENT: Holy Trinity Cemetery, Tabor, MN (burial will take place in the Spring)
