Elijah Nathanial Edgington unexpectedly passed from this life on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was born Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Zach and Angel (Butterbaugh) Edgington, who survive. Also surviving are sister Madelyn, brother Noah, and sister Macie; Grandparents David Edgington (Melissa Davis), Julie Conkel, Dwight Butterbaugh jr, Amy Combs (Johnny Thacker); Great Grandparents Versie Butterbaugh and Kathleen Combs; Aunts and Uncles Dave Cottrill, Micheal Edgington, Casey Wolfe, Renee Edgington, Teejay Conkel, Kelsie (Brandon) Magill, Brittany (Cory) Arthurs, Jesse (Mindy) Combs, Tonya (Buck) Emery, Kelly (Matt) Brownfield; Close cousins Koby Wolfe, Nick Combs, Gavin Combs, Ava Arthurs, Evelyn Magill, Reed Arthurs, Ivy Arthurs, and so many more cousins and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by great grandparents Ernest and Patricia Graves, Dwight Butterbaugh Sr, Roger Combs and cousin Elijah Cottrill. He will be missed by so many.  

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, helping with his siblings, playing football and basketball, playing card and board games, and playing games online with his friends.

Friends may visit with Elijah’s family from 4-7 pm Tuesday at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge. A  private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Brent Cunningham officiating and the burial to follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
