Elisa was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister that will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Macario Sr. and Rosa Garza and brothers Raul Pena Sr., Macario Garza Jr., and Ricky Garza.
Elisa is survived by her husband Amando Garcia Jr. of Freer, Texas; two sons, Amando Garcia III of Houston, Texas; Roy Garcia of Washington State; one daughter, Gloria (Malcolm) Nesloney of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Encarnacion Garza of California; three sisters, Teresa Gonzalez of Pearsall, Texas; Estella (Alex) Narvaiz of Minnesota; Esmeralda (Diego) Pena of Freer, Texas; two grandchildren, Anissa Raquel Garcia of Mathis, Texas; and Roy Macario Garcia of Washington State; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Freer, Texas.
