Elise Sandel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schlossberg Chapel - Canton on May 13, 2025.

Elise was transformational for everyone who met her. A person with cerebral palsy, she was wheelchair bound for most of her adult life. She remained open hearted and courageous toward a world that was often unkind.
She was authentic – Disney loving, politically astute (a lifelong Democrat), pepsi loving and strictly anti-vegetable. She was smart, with an impeccable memory and hilariously funny, with a smile that lit up the room. She will be deeply missed by all those whose life she touched.
Services will be held privately on May 13, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Indivisible (a national organization to resist the GOP) www.indivisible.org.

To know Elise was to love her. I will always be forever thankful for the friendship she gave my aunt and will miss her smile and jokes.
