Elise Rae Cunningham Tullier, wife of Corey Tullier and mother to Justin, Makayla, and Layla Tullier, was born on April 12, 1977, and was called home on December 8, 2025. Her time with us was far too short, yet she somehow managed to make an unforgettable mark on every single person lucky enough to cross her path.
She is survived by her sisters Shannon Cunningham LeBlanc (Richard Hymel), Tessie Cunningham (Kevin McMullen), and Treg Cunningham (Stephanie Trabeaux Cunningham); her in-laws Melissa Tullier Hebert (Jason Hebert) and George and Cheryl Tullier.
She also leaves behind her biggest fans, her nieces and nephews: Logan LeBlanc (she was his Lulu), Eric Alligood (godchild), Ali Cunningham (godchild), Austin Tullier (godchild), and Ryan Tullier (godchild).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Farell “Popcorn” and Brenda Cunningham.
Elise was a member of Healing Place Church, attended St. Amant High School, and was most recently employed at St. James Behavioral Health Hospital. She spent much of her life caring for children and touched the hearts of countless families along the way.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. There was absolutely no one like her. She was bold, funny, stubborn when she needed to be, soft when it mattered most, and loyal in a way that made you feel safe just knowing she was in the room.
She lit up every room, sometimes with jokes we weren’t quite ready for, and she kept us laughing even in hard moments. Though her earthly journey is complete, the impact she made is not. Her love, her humor, and her light live on in her children, in her family, and in every life she touched. The world is quieter without her, yet somehow brighter because she was here.
