On May 12, 1952, Eliseo was born to Eliceo and Daria Martinez in Roswell, NM. He married Lydia Lujan (Martinez) on February 14, 2006, in Roswell, NM. Prior to retirement, Eliseo, worked as a lettuce loader in California and for the Nova Bus Co. for many years. Eliseo had many hobbies such as working on model cars, customizing clothing, and keeping his navigator nice and shiny. His favorite pastime was watching the 49ers, his favorite sports team, and spending time with his family. Eliseo also loved watching Rifleman and any western. Eliseo will be missed by his family and friends.
Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Eliseo are his wife, Lydia Martinez; children: Lee Martinez, Michael (Sylvia) Martinez, Matt (Tiffany) Martinez and Tracy Martinez and fiancé Jonathan Kight; stepdaughter, Dorothy (Felix) Sakido; stepsons: Michael and Jacob Montoya; sister, Dorothy Lasoya; and grandchildren: Eli, Esai, Jayden, Jasayla, Antonio, Cheyenne, Destiny, Matthew, Aza Martinez, Isaac, Eric, Aleena, Zia, Lisa, Toni Salcido, Nevaeh, Gus, Axena, Azariah and Max Montoya.
Eliseo was preceded in death by his parents: Elicio and Daria Martinez; and siblings: Gloria Herrera, Rosie Florez, Johnny Martinez, and Tony Martinez.
The family of Eliseo wishes to extend sincere thanks to Gentiva Hospice, Lydia Martinez, and Tracy Martinez.
