As a young woman, Liz's hardworking spirit led her to a fulfilling career in the food service industry. She served countless meals and smiles to the patrons of The Miss Monticello Diner and Blue Horizon Diner, where she worked as a waitress until her retirement.
Beyond her professional life, Liz was a cherished life partner, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life partner, George Gavaris, was her rock and constant companion. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and mutual respect. Their enduring partnership was an inspiration to all who knew them.
Liz was also a dedicated mother to her children Salvatore, Jacqueline, Elizabeth, and Paul. She raised them with a blend of love, discipline, and wisdom, always striving to instill in them the values of hard work, honesty, and kindness.
