Elizabeth Ann Asbery, 73
Okeechobee – Elizabeth Ann Asbery died June 2, 2024. She was born September 15, 1950 in Greencastle, Indiana. A resident of Okeechobee for 12 years, she was a member of the Buckhead Baptist Church and the Okeechobee Moose Lodge 1753. She enjoyed going to flea markets and playing euchre and bingo, she loved fishing, horses, dogs, and most of all her family.
Mrs. Asbery was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Shaner; father, Barney Shaner; and two brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Monty Asbery, of Buckhead Ridge, Florida; sons, Steven Asbery, of Buckhead Ridge, Florida and Travis Asbery (Milly), of Okeechobee, Florida; one grandchild, Ashley Holt (Matt), of Linton, Indiana; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Emmalynne; brothers-in-law, James Asbery (Donna), of Mooresville, Indiana and Randall Asbery (Sherri), of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Carolyn Price, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
