Steven William Asbery died May 3, 2025. He was born September 12, 1970 in Putnum County, Indiana. A resident of Okeechobee for eight years, he was a member of the Okeechobee Moose Lodge. He loved animals, especially pit bulls.
Mr. Asbery was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Florence and Barney Shaner; paternal grandparents, Robert Asbery and Vivian Lashbrook; and mother, Liz Asbery.
He is survived by his father, William Asbery, of Okeechobee; brother, Travis Asbery (Milly Quebedeaux), of Okeechobee; uncles, Randy Asbery and Danny Asbery, both of Indiana; and several cousins from Indiana.
Services will be held at the Okeechobee Moose Lodge this fall.
