January 1, 1977, to December 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Conroy, who died in Flower Mound, TX, on December 28th. Born on New Year’s Day, 1977 in El Paso, TX, Elizabeth was a beacon of light and joy to everyone around her.

Elizabeth graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas in 1995 and went on to study Vocal Performance at SMU. Her lifelong passion for music enriched the lives of many people. She is also remembered for her unique and whimsical humor, her generosity and her fondness for animals.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Mike & Carolina Holguin, the granddaughter of Miguel & Consuelo Holguin, and Alberto & Elvira Trevizo. She is survived by Michael James Conroy, her husband of 27 years; her mother Carolina Holguin; her brother Michael Holguin, his wife Heidi Holguin and their sons Evan Holguin and Trevor Holguin; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa. Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza.
