Elizabeth Cooke, a beacon of warmth, humor and wisdom, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, in Titusville, FL, at the age of 82. Born on June 29, 1943, in Sparta, TN, Elizabeth was a cherished daughter, sister, devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Elizabeth's journey began as the daughter of T. Stanton and Frances Hale, and sister to brothers Frank and the late John Michael Hale. Elizabeth found her lifelong companion in Keith Cooke whom she was a loving wife for 59 years. Their beautiful union brought forth two sons, Kristopher and Ryan. She was also a loving mother- in-law to Naomi and Christine Cooke. She was blessed with three grandchildren: Grey, RJ, and Adelyn. Her brother, Frank Hale, sister-in-law Janet, nephews Adam and Aaron Hale, and many cousins, will remember her with affection and hold her memory dear.

An alumna of Tennessee Tech University, Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in education and started a teaching career in St. Louis, Missouri. Shortly after, Keith and Elizabeth moved to Titusville, Florida where she began teaching at Mims Elementary School. For over three decades her passion for education and her caring nature left an indelible mark on countless students.

Elizabeth's talents extended far beyond the classroom. She found joy in playing the piano, gardening, and cooking.

Those who knew Elizabeth will forever recall the laughter that followed her humorous tales. Her loving nature was the core of her being, making every encounter with her a moment of genuine connection. Elizabeth's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the tender care she devoted to her family and friends.

As we bid farewell to Elizabeth, a woman of grace and kindness, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire. Elizabeth's influence will persist, as enduring as the gardens she tended, the students she taught, and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed, but her light will never fade from the hearts of those she touched.
