November 28, 1942 in New York to the late Frank Jones and Margaret (Mallory) Gierman.
Betty was a life long animal lover who especially enjoyed riding horses. She volunteered as a 4-H Equestrian Club Leader in Sanilac County. She produced high quality ceramics as one of her several hobbies and enjoyed all types of music and dancing. In her younger years, she especially enjoyed playing the piano with her sister and mother. Betty was a retired nurse deeply committed to caring for those in need. Her wonderful sense of humor, compassion and generosity will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children; Scott (Ann) Dostal, Dana (Jon Wilson) Dostal, Kurt Dostal and Jana Dostal, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Livingston and several cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
