Elizabeth Famularo Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Elizabeth M. Famularo, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Salisbury, Maryland, at the age of 85. Born on May 12, 1940, in Manhattan, New York, Elizabeth, known affectionately to friends as Betty and to family as Babe.
She attended Patterson High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Her education laid the foundation for a successful career, and she went on to work at Armco Steel, where she retired after many years of dedicated service. Elizabeth was also employed by PMI Billing, where her work ethic and commitment were valued by her colleagues and associates.
After retirement, Elizabeth found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved going to the casino to play slot machines. She is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela Higdon, and son-in-law, Brian Higdon. Her legacy continues through her grandsons, Nicholas, Sean, and Corey, and her great-grandson, Colby Thiess, who brought joy and pride to her life. Elizabeth also held a special place in her heart for her grand-dogs, Janus, Elle, and Lily, who were and sources of unconditional love.
Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
As we bid farewell to Elizabeth M. Famularo, we celebrate her life. Elizabeth's journey through life was one of purpose and resilience. Elizabeth's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on through the memories she created with those she loved.
