Passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, December 11, 2025, in Corning, NY at the age of 93. Betty was born and raised in Wellsville, NY, by her parents, William and Geraldine (Dash) Hubertus. Betty had no siblings. Betty was pre-deceased after 32 years of marriage to her husband, Francis F. Green, who passed away in May 1982 at the age of 52. She was also, pre-deceased by her daughter, Connie M. Gebo, who passed away on March 29, 2015, at the age of 62; and her great-grand daughter, Parker A.Green, who passed away on March 20, 2015, at the age of 3 months old. She is survived by her son, David F.Green of Horseheads, NY; Daughter, Geraldine (Jeri) E. Evanko of Sunland, CA; son-in-law, Donald A. Evanko of Sunland, CA; sister-in-law: Mildred Beck (Green) of Ohio; grandchildren: William Green, Meagen Green, Stanley Gebo, Melvin Gebo and Richard Gebo; great-grand children; Lankin Green and Camron Harpur; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty worked at Corning, Inc. for 40+ years in Order Processing. (Retired 1995). Betty loved to spend time with family and friends, dance, exercise, crafts, travel, and gardening. Due to Betty's request there will no viewing. Also, due to the time of the year, there will be no church available for services. Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial by Father John DeSocio on Saturday, January, 3, 2026, at 10AM, at Sullivans Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin Street at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Corning, NY immediately following.
