Elizabeth Jane Hensley Moore, 62, of Paint Lick, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025.
She was born in Richmond, Kentucky on Sunday, September 29, 1963 the daughter of the late Boyd and Doris Snyder Hensley. Elizabeth was raised on a dairy farm (Hensley Dairy) and loved to milk cows. Farming has consistently been a part of her life. She served farmers in the office of Garrard County Stockyards and later as a sales clerk at Southern States in Richmond and Berea.
She was a graduate of Garrard County High School Class of 1981 where she enjoyed being an officer in the Garrard County Chapter of Future Farmers of America. In later years, she loved watching over her kids and grand babies.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Brent Moore; one son, Milton Little Brent Moore (Talia); two daughters, Elizabeth Maxine Eileen Means (Dallas) and Eva Briallynn Boyd Moore (Michael); one sister, Doris Gortney (Terry); grandchildren, Harper Annzley Means, Hunter Jackson Means and Hayes Allen Means; a sister-in-law, Connie Hensley; special friends, Pam Himes and Libby Powell; her two dogs, Bandit and Bella; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Wayne Hensley, Noah Hensley and his wife, Ann, and Hayward Allen Hensley.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Lowell Miller and Bro. J. B. Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Manse Cemetery (Old Paint Lick Cemetery).
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chester Powell, Zach Speake, Dallas Means, Little Brent Moore, Austin Tudor and Christopher Robinson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Bundy, Jimmy Tudor, Tim Burdette, Isom Lamb, Russell Garrett, Jerry Miller, Kenneth Creech, Timmy Tuttle, Linda Arnold and Karen Murphy.
