by DFH Inc. on 06/20/24 Elizabeth Jean Hinkle Lee passed away on Monday, June 17, after a long illness. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. However, she had lived in Morristown for over 20 years. Elizabeth passed away at Heritage Nursing Center in Morristown, Tennessee.
Elizabeth was a former member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Knoxville. She retired from Hinkle and Hinkle Accounting of Knoxville; a firm founded by her parents. She was also a dedicated member of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Joseph Franklin Hinkle and Anna May Bookout Hinkle, as well as her ex-husband, James (Eddie) Edward Lee Sr. She is survived by son James (Jim)Lee Jr. and wife Teresa Lee. Her daughter, Mickey Brooke and son-in-law, Mark Brooke; grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, and Ben Brooke Dandridge; grandchildren, Alyssa Estes, Cody Lee, Drake Lee, Elijah Johnson, Jamie Lee, and Hunter Lee; and great-grandchildren, AJ, Lily, and Annelise.
