Linda Darlene Blevins-Garrett
(September 26th 1959 - August 1st 2025)
Linda Darlene Blevins-Garrett, lovingly known as "Deane" or "Dee," went home to be with the Lord on August 1st, 2025, at 10:45 AM. She was 65 years old. Born on September 26, 1959, Linda was a lifelong resident of Morristown, Tennessee. She worked for many years in the education system as a special education teaching assistant, where she poured her heart into helping students grow and succeed. Known by everyone for her unforgettable cooking, Linda catered countless family reunions, church events, and community gatherings. Her food brought people together, and most folks who ever sat at one of her tables still talk about her dishes to this day. Linda was hard-headed in the best way - strong, sharp, and full of fire. She had a quick sense of humor and a deep love for the people around her. She worried more about others than she ever did about herself, always making sure everyone else was taken care of. She also had a soft spot for animals, especially her beloved Doberman, Lula. She is survived by her husband, Pierce Garrett; her children, Daniel Blevins and Hillary Blevins; and her brother, Joseph Reed. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and stories that will continue to be shared by everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can say. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with the To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Linda, please visit our Tree Store.
