Elizabeth A. "Beth" Huston

Elizabeth A. "Beth" Huston – age 72, of Hays passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
She was born on July 9, 1950, in Hays, Kansas to Julius J. and Lillian (Gerstner) Rohr. She married Douglas E. Huston on August 22, 1970, in Hays, Kansas.
She worked at Hays Travel, Hays State Bank, cleaned house for a few years, and was a homemaker.
Beth grew up in Hays, and was a 1968 graduate of Marian High School. She loved being a mother and was wonderful at it. She was always there for her children, and her husband. Beth was a pillar of strength, and determination for her family. Whatever life threw at her she was always able to stand up, and forge ahead. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Doug, of the home; her daughter, Jenni Rajewski, Hays, KS; her son, Curt Huston, Hays, KS; her grandchildren, Carver and Kaley Rajewski, Hays, KS; her mother, Lillian Rohr, Hays, KS; her brother, Mike Rohr and wife, Wanda, Hays, KS; her sister, Carol Rome, Hays, KS; her brothers-in-law, Robert Huston and wife, Sharon, Hays, KS; Royce Huston, Riley, KS; her sisters-in-law, Cathy Braun, Hays, KS; and Cindy Donlay, Wichita, KS.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Julius Rohr; her brothers-in-law, Ron Rome and Tom Braun; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Wanda (Sheets) Huston; and her nephew, Jarrett Rome.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Saint Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church 2901 East 13th Street, Hays, Kansas with Father Damian Richards officiating.
Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hays, Kansas.
A rosary will be at 7:00 P. M. Friday, at Cline's-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, at Cline's-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, and from 9:00 – 10:00 A.M. Saturday, at Saint Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church.
The family suggests memorials made payable to: The Hays Public Library for (large print books).
