He was born March 15, 1951, in Wabash, IN, to the late Irvin and Amy (Haines) Huston.
Jeff attended Indiana Academy in Cicero, IN and Purdue IUPUI.
On December 15, 1983, he married Carolyn Barnett in Battle Ground. She preceded him in death on May 13, 2022.
Jeff worked as a mechanical contractor, welder and pipefitter for Superior Enterprises before retiring.
He enjoyed fishing, taxidermy and working on old cars.
Surviving are stepdaughter, Penny Wolf – Mounts of West Lafayette, stepson, Frank (wife Tina) Wolf of West Lafayette, sister, Tyanne Smock of Indianapolis, and a brother, Jeri (wife Peggy) Huston of Florida. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jeff (girlfriend Dorie) Wolf, Frankie (wife Kassie) Wolf, Ashlyn (husband Chris) Wolf, Nina O'Connor, William O'Connor, both of Colorado, Amber Westfall and Brian O'Connor both of Lafayette as well as three great grandchildren, Kayden, Maliah and Bane Wolf.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Huston.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. Interment will follow at Battle Ground Cemetery, Battle Ground, IN.
