Robert Foss Obituary

Robert was born on August 27, 1955, in Marion, Indiana, to the late Robert Laverne Foss Sr. and Marcilla Sue Cox Korporal. Robert attended Indiana Academy in Cicero, Indiana and also Gas City High School. Robert had great musical ability. He started playing at age 3 and could play any instrument. At 18 years of age, he played with the Blessed Hope Singers group out of Marion, Indiana and they recorded an album with him playing the organ. His friends would tell you that he was the kindest man and undisputedly, the best pianist and organist. He could play any type of music and was always known for being kind and helpful.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and leaves behind his children, Carry Foss of Muncie, Robert Foss III of MN, and Donna Foss, Sherilyn Foss, David Foss, and Kevin Foss, all of Indianapolis, IN, siblings, Melody (Charles) Burns of AL, Debra (Michael) Gabbard of Marion, IN, Ken Foss of IL, Danny Korporal of AL, Steve (Julie) Foss of IL, step-siblings Peggy (Edd) McMillan of OK, Bob (Kathy) Cox of IL, Sandy (Rick) Reed of Gas City, IN, Wendy (Randy) Volz of IL, and Dianna (Richard) Ward of IL, and wonderful friends he made along the way.
Robert will be laid to rest at Van Buren Cemetery with his mother, at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home in Van Buren, Indiana.
