It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Ate, Elizabeth Jefferson on September 4, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her devoted significant other of 44 years, Elmer, who cared for her with unwavering love.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Cable Cemetery in Cable, Illinois. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion are assisting the family with arrangements.
Elizabeth was a kind and beautiful soul whose warmth touched everyone who knew her. She was also a devoted dog mom to her cherished companion, Coney Boy, who was always by her side and will miss her deeply.
She dedicated many years of her life to the Sony Corporation, where she was known for her hard work and kindness. Outside of work, Elizabeth loved the outdoors and enjoyed countless adventures with her nieces, nephews, and Elmer. Whether fishing, spending time at the beach around a bonfire, enjoying the mountains, or visiting amusement parks, she brought joy and laughter wherever she went.
Her home was a welcoming place where family gathered to create lasting memories, filled with love and laughter. Elizabeth’s generosity, kindness, and joyful spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
She will be deeply missed by her significant other Elmer, dog Coney Boy, brother Tony Davis, sister Judith Barksdale and as well as her nieces and nephews: Joszzette (Stan) Molner, Jacques (Lorraine) Garrett, Jeannen Blenkhorn, Chantel Aduna, Rafael Lopez, Max (Sofia) Lopez, Julie (Wayne) Sanders, Christine Henry and Jill Leingang.
Also, by her great-nieces Taylor Carlson, Alissa Garrett, Abriella Garrett, Caity Wood, Christina Wood, Anglicia Aduna, Mia Aduna and Asia Lopez and great-nephews Dante Carlson, Jacques Alexander, Colton Garrett, Phoenyx Garrett, Aj Aduna, Jayden Aduna, Luke Lopez, Levi Lopez, whom she loved dearly.
Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on forever in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
