Elizabeth Ann Lajeunesse (nee Simon), born February 20, 1937, in Tarentum, PA, died July 17, 2025. Beloved wife of 49 years Thomas R. Lajeunesse (deceased), loving mother of Tom (Franny), Paul (Jennifer), Dave . (Loree), Steve (Lisa) Lajeunesse, Mary Lou (Michael) Campbell, and Jeanne (Ryan) Weekley: dear grandmother of Cooper, Luca, Mike, Rob (Angela}, Brianna (Mariusz), Beau, Avery (Michaela), Analise and Reid Lajeunesse, Matthew and Elizabeth Campbell, Abbey and McGuire Weekley; great grandmother of Trey and Kaia. Daughter of the Late Joseph and Rose Simon, sister of Martin Simon sister-in-law of Louise Beitzel

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vic and Pat Lajeunesse and Margy Simon.

For the past 16 years, she has been the cherished and loving partner of John Cunningham who also brought much joy into her life.

The family will receive friends at The Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon. Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday August 18, 2025, at Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon at 10:00 AM. The family will be holding a luncheon following the Mass. Private family burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.

Elizabeth was a true example of "you get what you give in life" and she lived each day hoping to make someone else's day better. She had many dear friends through the years from her life raising a family of 6 in Mayfield Village, her days working for the Mayfield School District, her later years in Chardon and through her church. She shared her love and joy for life freely and with an open heart, until her final months and days while living at Maplewood Senior Living.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Project Hope, 25 Freedom Road, Painesville, OH 44077, https://projecthopeforthehomeless.org.
