Elizabeth Sutton Leitz

Elizabeth Sutton Leitz, age 69, of Selbyville, Delaware died Saturday, July 26, 2025 surrounded by her family at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of Walter E. Thoms and Patricia (Riggins) Thoms.
Liz worked for Food Lion for many years in Selbyville. She was a member of Peninsula Community Church in Selbyville and the Selbyville Elks Lodge.
She is survived by three daughters, Vanessa Dwyer and husband Anthony of Selbyville; Beverly Moore and husband Daniel of Selbyville and Megan Tubbs and husband George of Dagsboro; three sisters, Susan Shockley of Bishopville, Kelly Wentz of Castle Rock, WA and Alison Thoms of Glen Burnie, MD; nine grandchildren, Courtney Leitz, DJ Dorey, Anthony Dwyer, Nicholas Dwyer, McKenzie Tubbs, Emily Moore, Zachary Moore, Macy Tubbs and Michael Tubbs; a great grandchild, Colten Dorey.
in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frederick Leitz.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville where friends and family may visit an hour before the service.
