Elizabeth Matick Obituary
Since returning to Michigan in 1994, Mrs. Matick was devoted to her generations of family living nearby and her many friends in the church community at First United Methodist Church of Birmingham. Born July 19, 1923, in St. Louis, Elizabeth moved to Michigan when she married Robert "Bob" E. Matick, a Michigan native. They had homes in Connecticut, Michigan and Missouri in the years they were raising a family and traveled the world together until 1990 when Robert preceded Elizabeth into eternity.
Elizabeth is survived by a son and daughter, James D. and Suzanne M. Matick, beloved grandson James D. Matick and granddaughters Tamara Dinatale and Isabel Matick, along with dear sister-in-law Katherine "Katie" Matick and cherished nieces Sarah Zimmermann, Susan Baranowski and Elizabeth Storrie and their loving families.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 8 at 11am at First United Methodist Church of Birmingham. A lunch reception will follow.

Burial services will proceed at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
Memorials appreciated to the Salvation Army of Michigan, Redford Brightmoor Initiative, or Doctors Without Borders.
