On Friday, November 17, 2023, Elizabeth Mayne of Millersville, MD, formerly of Halethorpe, MD passed away peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late George E. Mayne; loving mother of Linda K. Beach, Sharon L. Burton and her husband, George, Vickie L. Moran and her husband, Frank, George E. Mayne, Jr. and his wife, Denise and Sharon Mayne; wife of the late Michael D. Mayne; and sister of Helen Sturgis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Mrs. Mayne was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Peter Wendling.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Monday, November 27th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm. Graveside Service and Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
