Elizabeth McCarty Obituary
Lizzy was preceded in death by her brother and closest friend Manuel Rangel.
She is survived by her parents James I McCarty II and Cheryl Lynn Krussick Byrd (Jon H. Byrd); brothers: James I. McCarty III, Jacob H. McCarty, Jeremy Wilbur; sister Courtnie Lynn Wilbur; additional family members: Mabel Rizzo (Jack), Dorothy Scanlan (Volney), James I McCarty I, Joseph Krussick II, Glenda Rutledge, Joseph Krussick III, Victoria Stone, Stephanie Barba, Lavinda Rizzo, and Jason Rizzo.
Lizzy is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, brother, auntie, our "Lizzy B" and Elias and Eli all rolled into one tiny fierce package. Lizzy had a true heart of gold. She never wanted anyone to feel pain. It didn't matter to Lizzy, whether she knew you or not, if she saw you hurting, or in need, she would do everything she could for you. To know Lizzy, was to truly know love. She will be missed and all memories will be cherished forever.
Lizzy's life celebration will begin with a visitation on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. also at Reflections Chapel. Reception will follow the service.
