Elizabeth June McGuyer

Elizabeth June R. McGuyer, age 85 passed away Monday the 2nd day of January 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center. June was born to the union of the late William Edwin and Laura Elizabeth Ferguson Richardson on Thursday the 24th day of June 1937. June was the wife of the late Glennis Earl McGuyer. She is preceded in death by one sister Jane Heumann and one step daughter Robin Rhoades. She was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church and the DAR. June was the owner and operator of the Morgantown Prescription Center and enjoyed UK Basketball, Square Dancing and genealogy.
Elizabeth June R. McGuyer is survived by her two sons Jim Thomason wife Glenda of Bowling Green, KY and Don Thomason wife Kathy of Nashville, TN; one granddaughter Rachel Thomason of Nashville, TN; one step daughter Meleah Givens husband Tommy of Bowling Green, KY and two nephews Virgil Morefield of Zurich Switzerland and William Morefield of Los Angeles, California.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00am with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Burial will be in the Huntsville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
