Elizabeth "Betty" Mizzoni

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Mizzoni, who passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2026 at the age of 87. Elizabeth was a devoted wife and loving mother.

Known to most as Betty, she loved nothing more than to be with family. Her face would always light up whenever one of her grandchildren came to visit. She had a witty sense of humor, and a warmth about her that will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Born in Boston’s South End in 1938 to Ernest Boleman and Mary Dolan, Betty met her husband of 68 years, Paul Mizzoni, who grew up in The North End of Boston. Shortly after the birth of their first child, they settled in Pembroke, where they raised their family and resided for 65 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Karen Dimestico, Paul Jr and Joe Mizzoni; and her grandchildren, Ray Dimestico, Sarah and Michelle Mizzoni, Krista and CJ Mizzoni, Marisa Mizzoni, and Katlyn Hathaway. She is predeceased by her son Louis and her husband Paul Mizzoni.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. There will be a gathering of family and friends afterward.
