With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth A. Morris, who peacefully departed on 8/10/2025 at the age of 88. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, known for her kindness, warmth and loving nature. Born on 6/5/1937 in Wareham Massachusetts. She was a graduate of University of Buffalo and received her masters degree in social work at Smith College. Bette worked as a nurse and then a social worker until her retirement at 78 years old. She had many friends she enjoyed spending time with in Buffalo and Greece NY. Bette lived a life filled with travel and adventure, friendship, and cherished moments with family. Her passions included gardening, music and theater, and spending time on Cape Cod beach. Bette will be deeply missed by her children Sioban Morris, William Morris, and Daniel & Wendy Morris; grandchildren Jaqueline & Nathan Barnes and children, John, Emily, James and Margaret, Katherine & Jeffrey Scipioni and children Cooper and Tucker, William & Chyrsti Morris and child Liam, and Timothy Morris; and sister-in-law Gail Cranston and nieces and nephews Lee, Mary Jo, Kevin, Linda, Connie, Bruce, Gloryanne, and John. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sarah Maddigan, sisters Mary Ribble and Francis Cranston and son Christopher Morris.
