PORT CHARLOTTE FL - It is with profound sadness that the family of Elizabeth “Betsy” (Hoff) (VanBuren) Muzzicato age 69 of Northport FL, formerly of Watertown CT, shares the news of her peaceful passing on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte after a nearly 18 year valiant battle with cancer. She was the wife of Arthur Muzzicato
Mrs Muzzicato was born on October 29, 1955, the daughter of the late Chester and and Avis (Cosmos) Hoff. Betsy lived in Watertown for the majority of her life moving to Florida several years ago.
She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Left to cherish and honor her memory besides her husband Arthur of 39 years are her children; Elizabeth Aldorondo (Americo), Arthur Jr. Muzzicato (Ave) and Justin Muzzicato , her five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Rosemary Brennan (Robert) and her brother, Chester Hoff (Elaine) as well as several nieces and nephews. Betsy was predeceased by her sisters, Irene Milton Cynthia
Funeral services for Mrs Muzzicato Will be held privately at the convenience of her family. She will be interred in the family plot at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. To honor her memory and in lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society at www.donate.cancer.org/ would be greatly appreciated by her family.
