Elizabeth A. "Betty" Osbun

Elizabeth "Betty" A. Osbun, 73, formerly of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday evening, December 12, 2025 at Morris View Healthcare Center in Morristown, NJ where she was a resident since 2022. She was the widow of Bruce Osbun, Sr. who died in 1999.
Born on December 13, 1951 in Paterson, NJ, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Caywood) Dunn and lived in East Stroudsburg for many years until moving to New Jersey in 2022.

She was an active member of East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church where she volunteered with many activities including the soup kitchen.
Surviving are a son, Patrick Osbun and wife Lisa of Netcong, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Ann Osbun of Stroudsburg; five grandchildren, Brandon Osbun and wife Tara, Brianna Osbun, Alexandra Osbun, Ava Schuffenhauer and Anna Schuffenhauer; a great-grandson, Roy Osbun; and many nieces and nephews.
In addtion to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Osbun, Jr. in 2021 and a brother, James Dunn.
Services will be held on Friday, December 19th at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with visitation beginning at 10:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am with Rev. Samuel Kofi Ashley officiating. Burial will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to ALS United Mid Atlantic.
