Elizabeth Page Obituary
Elizabeth Annette Page was born on January 16th, 1947, in Athens, Alabama and passed away on June 5th, 2024, at age 77.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace R. Parker and Ira Mae Barksdale Parker.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, George E. Page Jr.; sons, Kenneth (Hope) Page, and Kevin (Daesha) Page; grandchildren, Parker Page, Lily Grace Page, Skyler Willis, Seth Willis, and Brooks Dixon; and sisters, Betty Parrish, and Debbie (Terry) Driskill.
Annette had to grow up fast. Her mom and dad worked hard to make a basic, blue-collar income. She made her own clothes and cooked most family meals as a teenager with 2 younger sisters.
She grew to become an excellent seamstress, making clothes and curtains for her home and others. She made all the bridesmaid dresses for her wedding. Annette loved decorating, traveling, shopping for others, and gardening.
This kind and loving lady became a tenacious tennis player in her 30’s. As a fierce member of the Nashville Tennis Association, she was highly respected and played tournament tennis as well, becoming tournament champion on several occasions. George and the boys were afraid to play with her and be humbled.
As a realtor for 35 years, she became a lifetime member of Middle Tennessee’s Gold Member Club in her 7th year in her career. She loved helping clients with their real estate transactions and understood that this was the biggest investment most of them would make in their lifetime. However, the best indicator of a realtor’s success is repeat clients, and each of her clients would return to her expertise for additional transactions.
Her most important contributions to this world were her love for God, family, and friends. She made George a better man. There is no greater love than the love she demonstrated for God, her family, and her friends.
