Mike G Castillo October 19th, 1958 – August 9th, 2025 Family and friends will always picture Mike G Castillo settling into his favorite chair, ready for a Dallas Cowboys kickoff. Mike passed away on August 9th, 2025 in Antioch, TN. Born on October 19th, 1958 in Brady, TX, Mike grew up under the steady guidance of his parents, Martin Castillo and Janie Garcia, both now gone before him. Those early years shaped the generous, protective spirit that later defined him as a dad and as a neighbor. Mike's greatest pride was his children-Johnny Griffin, Sabrina Castillo, and Michael Camacho. Sundays meant two things in Mike's house: football on the screen and something delicious on the stove. He enjoyed cooking especially Mexican food and loved sharing his creations with his family, friends and neighbors. He cared deeply for his family and friends and always kept an eye out for his neighbors and kept watch. Mike's bond with his brother Martin Castillo remained strong, even after their brother Moses Castillo passed away. He cheered on his niece Sylvia Castillo and shared easy laughs with his cousin Josefina Maldonado. Mike leaves us with a simple lesson: love your kids, help your neighbors, and never skip a good game. He will be greatly missed.
