Obituary
Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Howe Pandora, age 71, died July 10, 2023,surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Beth was born March 19, 1952, in Ashtabula, Ohio, graduated from St. John High School, and later attended Kent State University, Ashtabula Branch. Beth was a dedicated administrative professional and worked for the United Way of Ashtabula County, the Trust Department of Farmers National Bank Ashtabula and Downtown Columbus Branches, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and retired after working over 20 years for The Hadler Companies and TransAmerica Building Company in Columbus. Additionally, Beth was a parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Upper Arlington for over 35 years and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved celebrating and supporting her family. Beth was a favorite among friends, family, and her caregivers and was cherished for her charming warmth, selfless character, love of humor, and beautiful smile. Beth is preceded in death by her parents Francis Xavier "Buddy" and Thelma "Jane" Howe; sibling Baby Howe; and her dog Butch. Beth is survived by her loving husband Gary of 43 years; daughters Betsy (Ryan Pilewski) and Margie (Lincoln Burkholder); granddaughter Maisy Pandora; brothers Michael Howe (Lisa) and Bill Howe (Mary Lou); sisters Katheryn Sharp (Bob) and Margaret Dalton (Bruce Brayden); and over a dozen nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place on Monday, July 17 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel 4661 Kenny Road in Columbus.Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 18 at 10:30 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington with a luncheon immediately to follow at St. Andrew's Nugent Parish Hall and a Christian burial to take place in Ashtabula, Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The American Cancer Society and Ohio Health Kobacker House.
