Margaret Boehm (nee Jenko) age 66, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away at home on November 17, 2025.
Born on January 6, 1959, in Euclid, Ohio to Flora and Joseph Jenko; she attended Kent State, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She continued to march to the beat of her own drum, exploring multiple careers in fields where she was helpful and brought beauty.
On June 5, 1982, she married Gustavo Ernesto Boehm; together they built a dwelling into a home, a ranch house into their palace, and a family forged in love. She was a cherished mother to Andrew, Peter, Caroline, and David. It has been said –The heart of the home is the kitchen. Now we realize, she was the heartbeat.
She spent her time gardening, travelling, reading, and creating treasured gifts. Throughout her life, “Mama Boehm” was known for her hospitality. Whether it was a party of 3 or 300, she would make sure all felt welcome. Friends from far and wide will miss our favorite hostess.
She is survived by her children and brother, and preceded in death by her father, mother, and husband. Our greatest solace is that she has joined her beloved and her parents.
Friends and family are invited to gather, eat, and share memories of her wonderful life on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 3 to 7 PM at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.).
