She was a member of the Assemblies of God and enjoyed reading the Bible, joining in Bible study and teaching the young people at church. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling to Tennessee and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three and a half years, Melvin L. Paugh; grandsons, Dylan Paugh and Brandon Southern; sisters, Naomi Tichinel, Genieve Davis, Wanda Barnes; and a brother, David.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A. 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM and Friday, April 15, 2022 10 to 11 AM at Walnut Bottom Assembly of God, 1014 Walnut Bottom Rd, Swanton, at which time the funeral service will be held with her nephew George "Buddy" Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Cemetery. The family would ask if you are attending the service on Friday, to please wear something RED because it was her favorite color. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Garrett County PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550. The family would like to thank Hospice of Garrett County for the wonderful care their mother received, especially from Lori and JoAnna.
