Elizabeth Ida Pruitt, 98, of Graysville, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2025. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Chip Pruitt officiating.
Mrs. Pruitt was a native of Alpine, AL and spent many years living in Vincent where she attended Vincent High School. Elizabeth enjoyed growing flowers, especially roses, and she was a member of Winterboro Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Pruitt was a proud homemaker and a very loving and devoted mother and "Maw-Maw".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pruitt, and sons, Larry Pruitt and Stanley Pruitt.
Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her daughter, Judy Whatley (Ed); sons, Ricky Pruitt (Melba) and Paul Pruitt (Gail); grandchildren, Christy Ruth (Michael), Kelly Woodham (Shane), Amy Bagwell (Tim), Nicole Wall (Charles), Chip Pruitt (Ray Ann), Steffanie Pruitt, Jason Goodwin (Tonya), Max Goodwin (Penny), Aaron Goodwin (Melissa), William Pruitt, Jessica Aguirre (Roberto), Scott Pruitt, and Jason Pruitt; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Josh Pruitt, William Pruitt, Cole Bagwell, Aidan Bagwell, Ricky Pruitt, and Jason Goodwin will serve as pallbearers.
