Elizabeth Shackford

HOOKSETT- Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Shackford, 75, of Hooksett passed away at Elliot Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born in Manchester, NH on December 9, 1950.

Betty enjoyed her dogs, Moxie and then Willy, they were her companions. She loved drawing, sewing, doing archery, and finding a good bargain at Goodwill.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, William and Doris (Dion) Shackford.

She is survived by her children, Angie Birch and her husband, Howard Birch of NY and Beth Prentiss of NH; grandchildren, Travis and his wife, Shannon Clough of NC, Robert Passeralli of NH, Mary Beth Bicknell of NH, Howard, Grace and Michael Birch of NY; great-grandchildren, Raleigh Clough and Sebastin Birch; her siblings, Kate Shackford and her husband, Robert Cochran from NH, Lorne Shackford and his wife, Tammy Shackford from GA, and Sandra Shackford and her husband, Gary McSwain from GA and several nieces, nephew and cousins.

Betty was a bonus mom to Crista Steinmetz, Jessica Andrew, Christopher Raymond, Robert Raymond and Jeffery Lamay.

A private graveside service will be held in the Spring at Head Cemetery in Hooksett. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society donate.cancer.org .
