Passed away November 21, 2025 at Bay Valley House.
She was the only child of Roy and Lorena (Leach) Beyer born on Thanksgiving Day November 25, 1926. She married Jacob Stahle on April 11, 1953. He predeceased her September 20, 2000.
She was a lifelong Saginaw resident who lived most of her life on property owned by the Beyer family since the 1800s. Elizabeth worked for Zondervan Family Bookstore before retiring in June 1989.
She was a long time member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saginaw. She was deeply involved in the teaching ministry of the church which was a source of great joy for her. She was active in the Share and Care ministry, Women’s Circle, and making quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
Surviving are four children, four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Renee Stahle; Phillip (Audrey and her children Scott Beyer, Andrew (Stephanie) Beyer, Michael (Kelsey) Mosier) Stahle and his children Elizabeth (Joshua) VanderKlipp and their children Lawson and Conrad, and Jennifer Stahle; Lorena (Donald Chip) Bowman; Robert (Connie) Stahle and their children Wade (Carlee) Stahle and their children Crew, Ledger and Baylor, and Hannah (Quinton) Metcalf and their children, Elowyn and Carlis.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bay Valley House and All Valley Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful caregiving.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4432 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Christina Schultz will officiate. Private burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saginaw or The Salvation Army.
