Sandra Kaye Burch, Saginaw, Michigan, Formerly of Bridgeport
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Age 67 years. Daughter of Patricia (Lamblin) Borske and the late Everett Borske, Sandra was born December 24, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Thomas M. Burch, her loving husband of 47 years, at St. Anthony Catholic Church on October 1, 1977. He survives her. Sandra was a photojournalist and compiler for the Catholic Weekly and the Times. She attended classes and received her certificate at Siena Heights University to become a Lay Minister. She was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Cursillo team leader, TOPS leader, quilting club, Bible Study leader, greeter, usher, and ministry to the homebound. She enjoyed Bingo, Tripoly, playing cards with family, visiting relatives, and having lunch with her grandsons.
Surviving besides her husband Tom are one son, Michael and Kristine Burch, Saginaw; two grandsons, Alex and Sam Burch; her mother, Patricia Borske, Saginaw; siblings, Dale and Joan Borske, AuGres; JoAnn Lackowski and Dan Callahan, Vassar; Darrell Borske, Carrollton; Scott and Jeanne Kostus, Frankenmuth; many beloved nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Everett Borske.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit, Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie and Deacon Gary Patelski will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
