Elizabeth Tyson Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Marie Tyson, 80, passed away June 12, 2024. She was born August 4, 1943 in Akron, the daughter of the late William and Cecelia Fenton. Liz will always be remembered as a kind, soft spoken, and generous person. She loved shopping for antiques, having a cup of coffee and watching the news. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Tyson; son Todd Andrew Gardner; sister Rosalie Wheeler; and her grandson Jeffrey Gardner. She is survived by her children Christopher (Judy Klein) Gardner, Julie (Mike) Ferrell, and Jeff Gardner; sisters Pauline (Bill) Bailey and Barbara Wright; as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street).
