Mrs. Ella Carole Short Hatch, age 82, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1943 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Short and Verna Stapp Short.
Mrs. Hatch is survived by her daughter, Anita Williams (Barry); sons, Randy Hatch (Samantha), Sammy Hatch (Tina) and Chris Hatch; grandchildren, Raven Hatch, Dave Owens (Tiffany), Drew Owens (Erica), Matt Williams (Lisa), Ashley Nichols, Josh Hatch (Sydney) and Jarrod Hatch (Bethanie); and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hatch is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 59 years, James Donald Hatch.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Hatch will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Joel A. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Hatch will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Dave Owens, Drew Owens, Matt Williams, Josh Hatch, Jarrod Hatch and Larry Hatch.
