Ellavee Vette, born on October 21, 1932, gracefully departed this life on December 31, 2025. She lived a vibrant 93 years, cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A dedicated professional, Ellavee worked for White Motors, originally known as Hercules Engine, for over 25 years. Her career was marked by hard work and commitment, characteristics that resonated in every aspect of her life. After graduating from Bolivar High School in 1948, she embarked on a journey that would lead her to create a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends.
Ellavee was not just an exemplary worker but also a nurturing presence in the lives of those around her. She is remembered fondly for her unwavering love for her family she loved to laugh, and embodied the spirit of kindness and generosity throughout her life.
She leaves behind her beloved step-daughter, Marcia Stamer, her sister-in-law, Christine Fisher, and her cherished grandchildren, Julianne and Steven Stamer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who hold dear the memories they shared with her.
Ellavee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Vette, and her first husband, Robert Chaney. She was also preceded by her father, Harley J. Fisher, her mother, Emma Fisher, and her brothers, Herman Fisher, Melvin Fisher, and Junior.
Ellavee’s legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed.

Services to honor Ellavee's remarkable life will be held at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio, on January 9, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:45 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
