This is a precious memory of a fun time we had in a talent show at Wooded Hills Church. We made up words to the Sister song from White Christmas.
(Wait for two Intros)
Sisters! Sisters!
There were never such devoted sisters
Never have to ask us twice to serve
No sir!
Who's our leader?..... Keep your eyes on her!
Caring (dancing in a circle) Sharing
Even all the things that we are wearing
When we get a call to help out
Gue' - ess what?
We work together so we don't get in a rut
(Susie) I like to landscape
(Ellen) And I like to decorate
(Mary) And prayer is important to meeeeee
(Kimmie) I count your tithes
(Carol) And I organize
(Sara) And I serve our God with gleeeeee
Those who've seen us
Know that not a thing can come between us
Many things have challenged us
But we don't really care
Lord help us sisters
To heal all of our blisters
And Lord help us sisters
To know what we have is rare
(repeat)

Ellen was an usher in our wedding and a nursing colleague at Meriter. She was lively and so much fun! I am sorry we lost touch. I pray all family and friends will experience peace in the coming days.
