Beverly Ann Emmitt

Beverly Ann Emmitt, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 86.
She was born March 25, 1939 in Springfield, Missouri to parents Joe and Dazel Harmon of Fair Grove, Missouri. Beverly graduated from Central High School and attended Southwest Missouri State University. She worked at Paul Mueller Company as a Sales Order Processor for over 40 years and retired in 2001.
Beverly married Jack Emmitt from Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee in 1958. They had two children, Vicki Emmitt Hume and Rick Emmitt. Vicki lives in Springfield, Missouri and was married to Paul Hume until his passing in December 2024. Rick lives in Nixa, Missouri and is married to Vicky Kelly Emmitt. Rick has a son Brandon Emmitt who lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife Olivia and their three children Jax, Lola and Luka. Vicki has two stepdaughters, Suzanne Hume and Krista Lynch. Vicky has two children, Thatcher Foley and Alyssa Foley.
Beverly loved to watch her grandson Brandon's sporting events. She and Jack liked to travel with long-time friends Charley and Theresa Chappell. Beverly loved to play the slots at casinos and enjoyed traveling on the many trips with Jack while he was employed with Bass Pro Shops. Beverly also enjoyed camping, scrap booking, dancing and playing card games with family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was loved by all.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dazel Harmon and husband Jack. Graveside service will be June 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road in Springfield, Missouri. Online condolences may be made at www.gormanscharpf.com.
