Ellen Isbell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Click Funeral Home - Lenoir City on Jun. 28, 2025.
Ellen Ann Isbell "Annie B" - age 78 of Lenoir City passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 with her children and grandchildren by her side. She served people in Loudon County working in several convenience stores in the area. Ellen loved animals especially her dogs. Annie lived with a open heart and a spirit that could not be tamed. Her kindness was felt by all that crossed her path, as she never hesitated to offer a smile or start a conversation, making anyone feel like an old friend. She had a rare gift of connecting with people, always ready to listen and share in their joys or burdens. Above, Ann's love for her family was immeasurable - and she loved them deeply with a devotion that soared above words, a love that truly went to the moon and back. Her presence was a light in the lives of those who knew her, and her spirit will forever remain in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. Isbell; parents, L. J. Thomas and Axie Geneva Kagley Thomas; siblings: Eddie Thomas, Jack Thomas and Helen Cummings.
Survived by her children, Christopher Bright of Lenoir City and Renee Bright Barry (Patrick) of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Jake Barry, Brooke Barry, Alex Bright, Claire Bright, Cooper Barry, Callie Bright, and Addison Bright; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 29th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 9:30 Monday morning and proceed to Corinth Cemetery for 10 a.m. graveside services.
