Ellen Lund Obituary
Ellen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald R. Lund, her children, Christine M. Lund (Millbury), Karen M. Lund (Sarasota, FL), John A. Lund (Northbridge), Donald S.R. Lund (Worcester), Alfred R. Lund and his wife Kristen Lund (Douglas), JulieAnne M. Lund and Justin Papetti (Millbury), Seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Ellen is reunited in passing with her dear mother, Eva (Dona) Lambert, father, Alfred Lambert, brothers, Edward, Earl, and Russell Lambert, beloved children, William and Eva Lund, and grandson, Johnathan Lund.
Born and raised August 5, 1940 in Worcester, MA, Ellen ultimately planted her roots in Millbury, MA while working as a homemaker raising her beloved children. Ellen was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Worcester. Ellen deeply loved her many generations of dogs, gardening, and had a passion for travelling. Ellen and her family enjoyed many memorable years RV'ing around the country and had a love of lake/ocean life.
Special thank you to the Jewish Healthcare Center hospice team, especially to Dina, Jennifer, Gina, Heather, and Katie, as well as the Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehab Center for providing her care and comfort in her final moments.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 A.M. in DIRSA - MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. Burial will be private.
