She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church; she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed conversations on the porch.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jeanette Hutson; brothers, Steven Hutson, Terry Smith, Gary Smith, and Johnny Wade; aunt, Carolyn Bishop.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles R. McCloud of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Savanna Wade of Chatsworth; daughter, Emily McCloud of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and April Hutson of Chattanooga, Joey and Vickie Hutson of Harrogate, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Andria and Bud Jackson of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Raelynn Annette Wade, Zane Glover, Aubrie Glover; several beloved nieces, nephews, as well many friends and coworkers also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ellen Annette "Tissy" McCloud will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00am from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Ray and Rev. Phillip Ensley officiating. Interment will follow Saturday January 6, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens at 11:00am.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Ellen Annette "Tissy" McCloud.

Ellen and I have been friends & coworkers for 30+ years. We work together back when we were teenagers starting out @ plant 18. She's a true sweetheart. She will be missed. Rest forever in God's beautiful home. Praying for her sweet family.
