It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Ellen Marie Mulcahey (nee Greer). Ellen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Ellen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she met her husband of over 60 years, Frederick J. Mulcahey Sr.

Ellen is pre deceased by her parents Samuel Patrick Greer Sr and Lilly (Margaret Frances) Greer (nee Ryan). Siblings: Samuel Jr, Henry, John (Jacky). Robert and Matthew. Margaret Halligan, and Patricia Scott.

Ellen leaves behind three children, Frederick Mulcahey Jr, (Mary), Erin Kapassakis (Nick) and Karen Mulcahey.

Ellen also leaves behind nine grandchildren.

Morgan Greico(James), Matthew Mulcahey, Daniel Kapassakis, Katie Mulcahey, Alexandra Kapassakis (Bryan), Kieran Mulcahey, George Mulcahey, Sydney Kapassakis and Jessica Evesson.

Ellen and Fred retired to Cape Coral, Florida twenty-nine years ago bringing their youngest daughter with them where they enjoyed life in paradise. They joined the boat club, roller skating and other fun activities. Ellen enjoyed playing the piano, cards with friends, mahjong and quilting.

A celebration of life will be held in New York, where she will be interred with her husband Fred.
